RE: I think it's time to buy a motorcycle!

I want to buy a Motorcycle, but I've never ridden before. I'm currently looking for a good starter to beat up as I learn. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

RE: To chainsaw,or not, that is the question

Bob, I don't usually take a chainsaw....my handsaws do the trick if I'm ever in a pinch. I guess its up to you...how many times have you had to use the chainsaw?

RE: Pulling the proverbial plug!

I think as long as you can pass a test, you should be able to drive. They should test more frequently as you go up in age.

RE: wave/bubble in ceiling laminate

you can definitely talk the price down because of this. Might not be a bad idea, as Beacher said, to look into if the owner can replace it under warranty.

RE: Buy a newer stripped PU or option it out?

I personally think that amenities aren't something one should skimp on. They will improve the resale and make guests and others more comfortable. A good point was made earlier that unless you're camping alone, you need to think of those who are going to accompany you.

RE: Keeping Critters out of the B

....... Any suggestions about likely places we may have overlooked or better strategies for sealing it off............. Don't underestimate prevention. I have had zero problems with critter entry just by placing Downy fabric softener sheets through out my FW. I put one everywhere there is a gap, like around the slide out area. The sheets also keep the reefer clean smelling (don't close the doors all the way; drop a sheet inside). Works just about everywhere. I also use them outside. I put one sheet in the reefer and hot water heater exterior mechanicals. I have never had problems with wasps or mud-dabbers which most other rigs seem to have each year. Downy also is the best way I've found to remove bugs and road tar, etc. Just wet one and rub gently. I've used dryer sheets also...work like a charm
